Summary:
The Speech Pathology Aide assists the speech pathologist in the preparation, organization, and maintenance of materials and programs specific to the needs of the patients. All Duties and Responsibilities are under direct supervision by a licensed speech pathologist per the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board
Responsibilities:
1.Assists with activities and behavior management during individual and group treatment sessions
2.Prepares, organizes, and maintains materials and programs specific to the needs of the patients
3.Records data during each session to support documentation, and enters data in the EMR with supervisor approval and signature
4.Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of the patients served regardless of age.
5.Other duties as required.

Technical Expertise
1.Experience working with children with multiple disabilities in individual and group settings is required
2.Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
3.Experience in healthcare is preferred.
4.Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
Education and Experience 1. Education: Minimum of Hight School Diploma or equivalent
2.Certification: Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Aide must be initiated upon hire.
3. Years of relevant experience: minimum of 1 year
