This position is within the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Service (PM&RS)/Audiology Department of the Abilene VA Clinic in Abilene, Texas. The incumbent is a staff audiologist. The staff audiologist conducts a full range of audiological evaluations to determine the type and degree of hearing loss, patients' need for amplification, predicts and measures the effectiveness of amplification, need for rehabilitation, and/or counseling of Veterans with hearing loss and their families.
